Deal with (type 3)

to take action about something

·       We need to deal with the bins. They smell!

Throw away (type 2)

to put something in the bin

·       Could you throw away that food please?

·       She threw away all the old toys.

 

Carry out (type 2)

to do a piece of work

·       She carried out research into heart disease.

·       They will carry out a survey to see what people think.

 

Get into (type 3)

to be accepted to a university etc

·       She got into Oxford.

·       Do you think he’ll get into the school?

 

Go ahead (type 1)

to start to do something, often after waiting

·       Please don’t wait! Go ahead and eat.
